Blitznews: Amazon Web Services nun auch im asiatisch pazifischen Raum verfügbar

Seit dem heutigen Tag sind die Amazon Web Services nun auch regional für den asiatisch pazifischen Raum, genauer in Singapur verfügbar.

Die neue Region verfügt über mehrere Verfügbarkeitszonen und unterstützt die bereits bekannten Amazon Web Services – Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Amazon SimpleDB, Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS), Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS), Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), Amazon CloudWatch, und Amazon CloudFront.

Damit existieren nun mit US-East (Virginia), US-West (N. California), EU West (Ireland) und Asia Pacific (Singapore) mittlerweile 4 unterschiedliche Regionen weltweit, in denen die Amazon Web Services zur Verfügung stehen. Ganz nach dem Motto von Werner Vogels: “Expanding the Cloud!”
