Oracle Cloud Office

Mit seinem Cloud Office stellte Oracle auf seiner OpenWorld seine Antwort für Webbasierte und mobile Collaboration Suites vor. Es basiert auf dem Open Document Format (ODF), wodurch ein Austausch mit lokalen OpenOffice Installationen stattfinden kann und ist zu Microsoft Office kompatibel.

Das Cloud Office richtet sich in erster Linie an Unternehmen, für die Oracle das Cloud Office in seiner eigenen Public Cloud hostet und an Service Provider (wie Telekommunikationsanbieter und Internet Service Provider), die ihren Geschäfts- und Privatkunden eigene Office-Lösungen anbieten möchten.
